2. Prohibited Content
The 9Converter policy strictly bans the use of its service for specific types of content. You may not use the converter for:
- Pornographic or adult content.
- Violent or extremist material.
- Malicious files (e.g., URLs containing viruses or phishing scripts).
- Private/Paid content (videos behind a paywall on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, or Vimeo Pro).
If 9Converter detects repeated attempts to access such content, the user’s IP address may be permanently banned, and the activity may be reported to relevant authorities. 9converter policy
3.4 Error Handling & Alerts
- Insufficient Units: Alert when attempted conversion <9 units (unless fractional allowed).
- Policy Change Notification: If 9Converter ratio is modified, notify all stakeholders via email/in-app.
- Audit Trail: Every conversion logs: user ID, pre/post balance, remainder, and IP address.
6. Privacy & Data Handling
- Data Collected: Minimal personal data (e.g., email for account creation, logs for abuse detection). Transient conversion files and link data as needed for processing.
- Retention: Specify retention periods for uploaded files (e.g., auto-delete files after X hours/days). Logs retained per security/abuse needs for Y days.
- Storage & Access: Stored files are accessible only to users with the conversion link or account (unless otherwise shared). Administrative access limited to authorized personnel.
- Cookies & Tracking: Disclose use of cookies and analytics; provide opt-outs where feasible.
