The X265 file includes a TrueHD Atmos track. This is not the same as "Dolby Surround."
- To hear ceiling speakers: You need an AV receiver (Denon, Marantz, Sony) connected via HDMI eARC.
- TV speakers / Soundbar: Do not use TrueHD. Use the AC3 5.1 track. The soundbar cannot decode TrueHD.
- The "Atmos" badge: If your soundbar displays "Atmos" while playing this file, it is receiving the lossy DD+ version. That still sounds good, but you are missing the high-bitrate immersion.
