Black Copper Pos P80 Driver Setup V7.17 //free\\ May 2026
Black Copper POS P80 Driver Setup (v7.17)
Issue 3: Black Copper Specific - Overheating / Slowdown
- Cause: The "Black Copper" variant has a high-speed motor. V7.17 defaults to 90mm/sec, but Black Copper can handle 250mm/sec.
- Fix: In Device Settings, under "Print Density," ensure you are using "High Speed Mode" . Set temperature control to 130°C (the copper heatsink dissipates heat faster).
1. Connect the Printer
- Plug in the printer via USB or network.
- Turn it on.
- If using USB, Windows may auto-detect as “Unknown device” – that’s fine.
Step 3.2 – Install via Device Manager
- Connect P80 to PC (device powered off)
- Open Device Manager → Look for “Unknown Device” or “Eleaf P80”
- Right-click → Update driver → Browse my computer
- Select the
usb_drivers/folder from POS package - Click Next → Accept warning if shown
✅ Success: Device appears as “WinUSB Device” or “libusb-win32 device”
