Fixing Battery Drain
- Install Kernel Adiutor and set the CPU governor to “conservative” or “schedutil”.
- Disable “Mobile data always active” in Developer Options.
Phone Boots into Download Mode instead of ROM
- Solution: You forgot to uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Odin. Re-flash TWRP and force reboot manually.
4. Available Custom ROMs (as of 2024)
Step 4: Flash the Custom ROM
- Connect your A9 2018 to PC. TWRP should show as a MTP device. Copy the Custom ROM ZIP and GApps ZIP to the phone’s internal storage or SD card.
- In TWRP, tap Install.
- Navigate to the ROM ZIP > select it > swipe to install.
- Do not reboot yet. Tap the Home button, then Install again, and select the GApps ZIP.
- (Optional) Flash Magisk for root.
