How to set it up (Quick Guide)

If you have one and need to get it working:

  1. Default IP: Many units default to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.250. If unknown, hold the reset button for 10 seconds to factory reset.
  2. Connect: Plug it into your network via Ethernet and power via PoE or a 12V DC adapter (center positive, 2.5mm barrel).
  3. Access: Use a web browser to visit its IP address. Default credentials are often:
    • Username: root
    • Password: (blank) or dbps
  4. Configure: Set your serial port parameters (baud rate, data bits, parity) to match your device.
