Organizing your samples

Virtual DJ uses a Sample Bank (usually located at the bottom of the interface). You can load up to 48 samples across 4 banks. To populate these:

  1. Download sample packs: Sites like Loopmasters, Splice, or FreeSound.org offer royalty-free samples.
  2. Drag and drop: Simply drag the MP3 or WAV file from your computer’s file explorer directly into the VDJ Sample Bank slot.
  3. Auto-loop: Right-click a sample slot to set it as a "Looping Sample" (good for drum loops) or "One-Shot" (good for vocals).
