Cybersecurity Analysis Report: Dumpper v.80.9 and JumpStart
Classification: Security Audit / Vulnerability Assessment Tool Status: Legacy / High Risk Target: Wireless Networks (IEEE 802.11)
JumpStart (often bundled with Dumpper) is a wireless management utility originally developed to simplify the process of connecting devices to a router via WPS. Dumpper leverages JumpStart to automate the "Push Button" or "PIN" configuration method, tricking the software into attempting connections using PINs discovered or brute-forced by Dumpper.
