• Solution: Your physical box has outdated firmware. Use the JAF_Loader_Updater.exe included in the exclusive 19862 package. Connect the box, short pin 1 and 2 of the LPT port (if using a parallel version), and click "Update."

Step 3: Install the Core Software

Run JAF_1.98.62_Setup.exe as Administrator. Accept the default installation path (C:\Program Files (x86)\ODEON\JAF). When prompted, do not connect your JAF Box yet.

Installation Guide (Quick Start)

1. Disable Driver Signature Enforcement (Windows 7/8/10).
2. Install the JAF setup as Administrator.
3. Do not connect the JAF Box yet.
4. Install the included USB drivers from the \Drivers folder.
5. Restart your PC.
6. Connect the JAF Box. If Windows asks for a driver, point it to the installation folder.

Step 2: Disable Driver Signature Enforcement (Windows 10/11)

Since this software uses unsigned 32-bit drivers, you must modify your OS settings:

1. Restart your PC.
2. Press F8 or hold Shift while clicking "Restart."
3. Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Disable Driver Signature Enforcement.

Step 3: Run the P-Key Emulator

• Navigate to the extracted folder.
• Right-click P-Key_Emulator_v2.5.exe > Run as Administrator.
• Keep this window open! If you close it, JAF will say "Box not found."
