Congratulations on your purchase of the FlySmart™ Personal Mobility Drone!
You are now the proud operator of the world’s most intuitive aerial transport device. Before your first flight, please read this manual carefully. Failure to do so may result in voided warranties, minor embarrassment, or sudden unplanned lithobraking.


Pre-Landing (Descent Phase)

  1. Tap the Landing icon.
  2. Select the destination or alternate airport (e.g., LFPG).
  3. Choose the expected runway and landing flap setting (CONF 3 or FULL).
  4. Enter forecast wind and runway condition.
  5. Input your landing mass (from FMS PROG page).
  6. Press Compute.

Step 1: Device Requirements

Performance Calculator Inputs

5) Weight & balance and performance calculations (5 minutes)

  1. Open W&B panel.
  2. Enter passenger weights, baggage, fuel.
  3. Confirm CG is within limits and that takeoff weight ≤ MTOW.
  4. For takeoff/landing distances:
    • Input runway, temperature, runway condition; check computed required distances. Actionable rule: Always compare computed takeoff distance + 15% margin to available runway.

📅 3. The Flight Briefing Module

The "Briefing" tab is your digital flight plan. Here is how to review your upcoming duty: Pre-Landing (Descent Phase)

  1. Select the Flight: Scroll through your assigned roster or search by flight number/date.
  2. Review the Strip: Tap the flight to open the briefing strip. You will see:
    • Route of Flight: Departure (DEP), Destination (DST), and Alternates.
    • Times: Estimated Block Time and Flight Time.
    • Fuel: Minimum fuel requirements vs. planned fuel.
  3. Sign-Off: If your organization requires electronic sign-off, tap the "Acknowledge Briefing" button at the bottom of the screen.
