What is an ARL? ARL stands for Authentication Resource Locator. In simple terms, it is a session cookie used by Deezer to identify a logged-in user. When you log into Deezer via a web browser, the server generates an ARL token and stores it in your browser's cookies. Use Deezer’s official SDKs and APIs

Why is it used? Many open-source developers use the ARL token to bypass the need to build a complex OAuth login system within their apps. By inputting the ARL directly, the app "tricks" the Deezer API into thinking it is already a logged-in browser session.

The Risks: Treat your ARL token like a password. Anyone with your ARL token has full access to your Deezer account, including the ability to change email addresses and passwords. Never share your ARL token publicly. If you suspect a leak, immediately change your password on the official Deezer website, which will invalidate the old token.

  4. Open it as text. Search for arl.
