Fix: Right-click (or Ctrl-click) the i1Profiler app icon and select "Open." Then click "Open" in the confirmation dialog. You only need to do this once. I1profiler 3.1.1
7. Workflow integration
- Preflight steps: Calibrate instruments, warm up displays/printers, stabilize media and inks, set target luminance and white point.
- Profile creation: Measure targets, compute TRCs and LUTs, choose rendering intents and gamut-mapping parameters, and export ICC profiles.
- Application use: Embed or assign profiles in authoring applications, convert images between color spaces as needed, use soft-proofing to simulate target output.
- Versioning and archival: Tag profiles with creation metadata and link to measurement datasets for traceability.
2. Printer settings before printing the chart
- Turn off color management in your printer driver:
- Set Color Mode → Off (No Color Management) or Driver ICM → None
- Choose the correct paper type, quality (highest), and ICC profile (usually "Printer Managed" or "None")
- Print the chart using a color-managed application like Photoshop or i1Profiler’s own print dialog (not a quick-print from a browser).
- Ensure no scaling and no borderless unless your chart is designed for it.
