    • On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > Advanced > TCP/IP > Renew DHCP Lease.

Step 3: Access the Router's Web Interface

  1. Open a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) on your computer.
  2. Type the router's default IP address in the address bar: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (check your router's manual or manufacturer's website if you're unsure).
  3. Press Enter to access the router's web interface.

Step 4: Log in to the Router

  1. You will see a login page. The default admin username and password for KJ33 routers are:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: admin or password (check your router's manual or manufacturer's website if you're unsure).
  2. Enter the login credentials and click Log in.

Step 5: Change the Admin Password

  1. For security reasons, change the admin password to a strong and unique one.
  2. Go to the Administration or System section of the router's web interface.
  3. Look for the "Change Password" or "Admin Password" option.
  4. Enter a new password and confirm it.

Step 6: Configure WAN Settings

  1. Go to the WAN (Wide Area Network) or Internet section of the router's web interface.
  2. Select the WAN connection type: DHCP, Static IP, or PPPoE (check with your ISP if you're unsure).
  3. Enter the required settings:
    • DHCP: No configuration required.
    • Static IP: Enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server IP addresses provided by your ISP.
    • PPPoE: Enter the username and password provided by your ISP.

Step 7: Configure Wireless Settings (Optional)

  1. If you want to set up wireless connectivity, go to the Wireless or WLAN section of the router's web interface.
  2. Enable wireless networking.
  3. Set the wireless network name (SSID) and channel.
  4. Set a wireless password (WPA/WPA2).

Step 8: Save Changes and Reboot

  1. Save all changes made to the router's settings.
  2. Reboot the router to apply the changes.

Step 9: Connect to the Internet

  1. Disconnect the Ethernet cable from your computer and the router.
  2. Connect to the router's wireless network (if you set up wireless) or connect your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable.
  3. You should now have internet access.
