This modification is a fan-made overhaul designed for the PlayStation 3 version of the game (often played on modded consoles or emulators like RPCS3). It bridges the gap between Storm Revolution and the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations era by overwriting existing character slots and mechanics with next-gen assets.
Previous bug: Selecting Boruto would freeze the stage loading screen.
Fix: Repacked asset archives (CPK files) with corrected offset tables specific to PS3’s big-endian architecture.
Back up your save data: Copy your Revolution save to a USB. The mod changes character IDs; old saves may cause glitches.
Extract the mod: On your PC, unzip the downloaded file. You should see:
BLUS31413 (folder – US version)BLES01962 (folder – EU version)install_guide.txtTransfer to PS3: Copy the folder matching your game’s region to the root of your USB.
Launch Multiman: Insert the USB into your PS3. Open Multiman and navigate to File Manager.
Overwrite game files: Navigate to:
dev_hdd0/GAMES/NARUTO_SR_[REGION]/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/data/spc, effect, and ui folders with the ones from the modpack.Install the patch: Some versions include a .pkg fix. Go to Package Manager > Install Package Files > Standard and install fix_v4.pkg.
Rebuild Database (Recommended): Turn off the PS3. Hold the power button until you hear two beeps (Recovery Mode). Select "Rebuild Database."
Launch: Open Storm Revolution. If you see Boruto on the title screen, the mod worked.
