Installation and System Requirements
OpenVPN Connect for Windows runs on modern Windows releases (Windows 10 and later are typical targets). Installation is straightforward: download the installer from a trusted source, run it with administrative privileges (required for installing the TAP virtual network adapter and configuring system routes), and import VPN profiles (.ovpn files or configuration bundles). The client may require periodic updates to address security patches or compatibility improvements; administrators should centrally manage deployments in enterprise settings using endpoint management tools.
