Pokémon Sacred Gold & Storm Silver — Installation & Documentation
1. Pokemon_Location_Changes.html
- What it does: Shows where every single Pokémon spawns, by route, time of day, and encounter method (Grass, Surf, Rock Smash, Swarm, Headbutt).
- How to use it: Looking for a Ralts? Ctrl+F “Ralts”. It tells you Route 34 (Morning/Day) at 10% rate. Looking for a Beldum? Post-game, Mt. Silver.
- Secret: The Pokédex search function actually works. Because the hack includes all 493 Pokémon, the in-game Area search is active from the start.

The Gym Leader Rematches
You need a specific document: Gym_Leader_Rematch_Levels.html. In Sacred Gold, you can call gym leaders on specific days.
- Example: Call Brock on Monday afternoon. He will have Level 85 Pokémon with competitive sets (Tyranitar, Aerodactyl, Rhyperior).
- Reward: Rare TMs like Earth Power and Dark Pulse that are unobtainable elsewhere.
What You Need:
- A clean, unmodified ROM of Pokémon HeartGold (for Sacred Gold) or SoulSilver (for Storm Silver). The file should be a
.ndsfile. - The hack patch file – Download the latest version (currently v1.1.1 or newer) from Drayano’s official release (check GBAtemp or his Twitter @drayanott).
- Patcher Software:
- Windows: NUPS or Delta Patcher (easiest).
- macOS: MultiPatch.
- Android: Unipatcher.
