Reaper 2: Complete Kisuke Urahara Mentor Quest Guide
Kisuke Urahara is one of the best mentors in Reaper 2 for players who want a well-balanced build focusing on speed, utility, and technique. His quests are challenging but rewarding. Below is the full progression list.
2. Nake, Benihime (Scream)
- Type: AoE / Crowd Control.
- Description: A circular shockwave attack around the player.
- Review: This is your "get off me" tool. It casts quickly and pushes enemies back. It is essential for PVP because Kisuke is squishy. If a Kenpachi or close-range Hollow rushes you, this creates space instantly.
Quest 5: The Final Seal (Capstone)
- Objective: Bring Kisuke 1 Pure White Hogyoku.
- Acquisition: This is the only item in the questline that cannot be farmed from mobs.
- Method A: Purchase from the Rare Goods Merchant for 50,000 Ryo (rotates stock hourly).
- Method B: Crafting. Combine 10 Gray Essences + 1 Sunstone + 1 Moonstone at the Ancient Forge.
- Warning: Method B has a 30% failure rate. If you fail, you lose the Gray Essences.
- Reward: 50,000 EXP, 25,000 Ryo, Title: "Scientific Genius," and the final ability...
Quest 3: The Schemer’s Final Test
- Objective: Defeat Kisuke Urahara (Boss NPC).
- Details: You are transported to an arena to fight Kisuke. He uses the exact moveset you are trying to unlock.
- Review: This is a skill check.
- Difficulty: Moderate to Hard.
- AI Behavior: Kisuke is aggressive. He uses his "Shatter, Benihime" (Cero) frequently and sets up puddles (traps).
- Strategy: Do not get greedy. He breaks block easily. You must play defensively—dodge his oil puddles, block his melee, and punish him when he whiffs a heavy attack. Bringing a friend isn't usually allowed for the mentor instance, so you must solo it.
Prerequisites
- Race: Soul Reaper (Must be max level/ prestige to start).
- Location: Kisuke is located in Karakura Town, usually standing near his shop structure.
- Item: You must acquire the Training Sword to begin his questline (dropped by Menos or bought from the shop).
Quest 2: Intelligence Gathering
- Objective: Collect 15 Soul Feeds.
- Details: You obtain Soul Feeds by defeating Arrancars or Menos. You must have the specific quest active for these items to drop.
- Review: This step can be frustrating. If the server is empty or newly created, Arrancars spawn slowly. The drop rate is decent (around 30-40%), but finding the mobs is the hard part. It forces you to engage with the game's harder PvE enemies rather than just basic mobs.
Important Notes & Tips
- No Daily Reset: Kisuke’s quests are one-time progression quests. You don’t repeat them for rewards.
- Skill Tree Access: After each quest, return to Kisuke and click “Train” to spend skill points on newly unlocked abilities.
- Mentor Switch Warning: If you leave Kisuke for another mentor (e.g., Yoruichi or Aizen), you will lose all Kisuke-exclusive skills and must redo his quests if you switch back.
- Best Build with Kisuke: Focus on Spirit (SP) and Agility – Benihime’s abilities scale well with SP, and Bankaizen rewards timing over raw defense.
The Moveset Review (The Reward)
Upon defeating him, you unlock the Benihime Shikai skill tree. This is where the mentor truly shines. It requires you to unlock moves sequentially via the Skill Tree using Skill Points. reaper 2 kisuke mentor all quest
