Playable Characters (All Games)

• Amy Rose – Uses her Sonic Advance moveset (hammer attack, double-jump, spin-jump with hammer). Replaces “Story” mode with her own intro/outro.
• Knuckles (already in base game for S3&K, now playable in Sonic 1, 2, CD – with limitations: no gliding in Sonic 1 due to level geometry).

Technical Notes

• Target size: keep DLC under 1.5–2 GB by streaming arranged audio and reusing assets.
• Backwards-compatible with existing save data.
• Leaderboards via Nintendo Switch Online; fall back to local friend-only if unavailable.

If you buy the Plus Expansion Pack (or own the physical Sonic Origins Plus cartridge), update 1.1.0 enables:
