Comprehensive Installation Guide for the SSIS698 4K System

A. Initial Power-On Sequence

1. Apply power to the SSIS698. Wait for the "Status" LED to stop flashing (approx. 45 seconds).
2. Turn on the displays first. Allow them to go fully active.
3. Finally, turn on the source devices.

5.2 Forced EDID (Troubleshooting)

If the source doesn’t recognize the display, set Tx DIP #1 ON (internal 4K EDID). Then manually adjust resolution on source to match display’s native resolution.

3.3 Power Up Sequence

1. Apply +12V DC (nominal 2.5A peak) – use the supplied locking barrel connector.
2. Wait 10 seconds; the front LED will cycle: Red (boot) → Green (standby) → Blue (streaming ready).
3. If LED remains amber, check voltage droop (>11.4V triggers undervoltage lockout).
