What is Family Place?

A Family Place Library is a center for early childhood information, parent education, emergent literacy, socialization, and family support. Family Place builds on the knowledge that good health, early learning, parent involvement, and supportive communities play a critical role in young children's growth and development. Each Family Place Library features the following core elements:

  • A bright, colorful, and welcoming space for young children and their parents.
  • A collection of books, toys, videos, music, and other materials for babies, toddlers, parents, and service providers
  • Access to resources that emphasize emergent literacy, reading readiness, and parent education.
  • Developmentally appropriate programming, such as baby and toddler storytimes for younger children and their parents.
  • Outreach to new and underserved populations.
  • The Parent-Child Workshop is a five-week workshop featuring local professionals, such as nutritionists, speech and language therapists, and child development experts, who serve as resources for parents.

The first three years of a child's life lay the foundation for learning. Get the tools and resources you need to give your child the best possible start.

Tc Helicon Play Acoustic Presets List Upd Now

To keep your TC Helicon Play Acoustic Go to product viewer dialog for this item.

current, it is essential to manage your presets and firmware using official software tools. The device comes with over 100 factory presets  and has storage for up to 500 user presets . Managing and Updating Your Presets

The primary way to update your preset list is through the TC Helicon VoiceSupport 2 software .

Loading New Sounds: Connect your device to a computer via USB and open VoiceSupport. The software allows you to drag and drop new preset packs from the TC Helicon library directly onto your device .

500 Preset Mega Pack: TC Helicon released a "Mega Pack" containing 500 artist- and song-inspired presets . A PDF reference guide is often available within the software or community groups to help identify which songs correspond to preset names like "CALI HOTEL" (Hotel California) or "BRICKWALL FLOYD" (Pink Floyd) .

Customization: You can browse presets by genre (e.g., Pop, Rock, Alternative) using the Genre button . Each preset features two layers: the standard "On" state and a "Hit" state for adding extra intensity or effects during choruses . Firmware Updates

Keeping your firmware updated ensures stability and can sometimes unlock new preset compatibility.

Latest Version: As of late 2023/2024, the latest stable firmware is often cited as 1.5 Build 74 . How to Update: Download VoiceSupport 2 from the official site . Connect the Play Acoustic via USB .

The software will automatically detect your device and prompt you if a firmware update is available . tc helicon play acoustic presets list upd

The TC Helicon Play Acoustic comes pre-loaded with hundreds of presets designed for singer-songwriters, featuring a mix of vocal harmonies, doubling, and guitar processing. While the factory set contains over 235 presets, the most significant "update" is the 500 Preset Mega Pack, which can be loaded via the VoiceSupport 2 software to expand your library.  Core Factory Preset Examples

These presets are commonly found in the initial factory bank and represent various genres and vocal styles:  1 ELVIRA O-R BOYS: Classic deep harmony style.

4 HIT DOUBLING: Standard vocal thickening; the "HIT" button typically adds a second voice. 7 GORGEOUS HALL: Lush vocal reverb with long decay.

9 CLOSE UP 3RD: Tight, high 3rd harmony ideal for acoustic duos. 12 AMERICAN GRNDAY: Gritty, rock-style vocal processing.

31 HEY JUDE-Y: Classic rock harmony inspired by The Beatles.

36 CALI HOTEL: Reverb and delay inspired by classic soft rock. 110 GRENADE FM MARS: Modern pop vocal processing.  Latest Firmware Features (Update 1.5.00 B74)

Upgrading your firmware via the TC Helicon VoiceSupport tool adds critical "per-preset" functionality:

Per-Preset Guitar Settings: You can now save different guitar sounds (reverb, chorus, delay) for every individual preset instead of using one global setting. To keep your TC Helicon Play Acoustic Go

Expanded Looping: Looping time is doubled (up to 60 seconds in mono).

New Guitar FX: Includes styles from TC Electronic's Flashback Delay and Hall of Fame Reverb.  How to Update and Load New Presets

I don’t have access to the very latest updates from TC Helicon (now part of Music Tribe) beyond mid-2025, but as of the most recent firmware and factory content for the TC Helicon Play Acoustic, the preset list is organized into song-specific presets and style-based presets.

Here’s a general overview of the factory preset categories (the exact list may vary slightly by firmware version):

Preset List (common factory presets with concise descriptions)

  1. Clean — Natural acoustic guitar tone, minimal processing.
  2. Bright — Boosted highs for presence and clarity.
  3. Warm — Slight low-mid emphasis; smoother tone.
  4. Sparkle — High-frequency enhancement for shimmer.
  5. Studio — Polished tone with light compression and EQ.
  6. Live — Increased presence and feedback control for stage.
  7. Strumming — Optimized for full strums; chord clarity.
  8. Fingerstyle — Enhanced low-mid and transient detail.
  9. Percussive — Emphasizes attack and body for percussive playing.
  10. Flatwound — Simulates darker, mellow string set.
  11. Piezo Boost — Cleans and boosts piezo-equipped guitars.
  12. Humbucker — Voicing tailored for humbucker-equipped acoustics.
  13. Nylon — Warmer, rounder voicing for nylon-string guitars.
  14. Looper — Dedicated preset for looper use with optimized levels.
  15. Chorus — Adds subtle chorus modulation to guitar.
  16. Reverb Plate — Emphasis on plate-style reverb tail.
  17. Reverb Hall — Large, ambient reverb for spaciousness.
  18. Delay Slap — Short delay for slapback effect.
  19. Delay Mod — Modulated delay for texture.
  20. Vocal Double — Doubles vocal input for thickness (if using mic).
  21. Harmony 3rd — Adds 3rd harmony to vocal (key detection required).
  22. Harmony 5th — Adds 5th harmony to vocal.
  23. Vocal Reverb — Reverb optimized for vocals; preserves clarity.
  24. Vocal EQ — Focused EQ for vocal presence.
  25. Mic Combo — Balanced guitar+mic mix preset for singer-guitarists.
  26. Feedback Suppress — Aggressive feedback control for loud stages.
  27. USB Direct — Preset optimized for DI recording via USB.
  28. Low Battery — Utility preset reducing gain to conserve power.
  29. User 1 — User slot (store custom settings).
  30. User 2 — User slot (store custom settings).

4. Important – No “Live Cloud List”

The Play Acoustic does not auto‑sync with a live, online preset list. The only way the list changes is if you load a different bank or edit presets manually.
So any “updated list” you see online is just someone else’s user preset bank, not an official TC‑Helicon rolling update.

Bottom line:

  • The factory list is above (fixed).
  • For your current list → use VoiceSupport 2 to export.
  • For new presets → download user banks via VoiceSupport 2’s online library.

If you tell me exactly what you’re trying to do (e.g., “I need a printed list for a live show cheat sheet” or “I want to find a preset that sounds like X”), I can give you a more precise workflow.

The TC Helicon Play Acoustic provides a massive library of over 235 factory presets, designed to deliver professional-grade vocal processing and acoustic guitar enhancements in one unit. While many factory presets are specialized for specific songs, the device is highly valued for its "Global" settings that keep your core tone consistent across all patches. 🛠️ Core Preset Functionality Clean — Natural acoustic guitar tone, minimal processing

Navigation: Use the Up/Down footswitches to cycle through presets or the Control Knob for rapid scrolling.

"HIT" Button: Most presets have a secondary "layer" activated by the HIT button, typically adding harmonies or more intense effects for choruses.

Genre Tagging: You can filter presets by style (e.g., Pop, Rock, Alternative) or artist using the Genre button.

Global Effects: You can set your guitar effects to be "Global," meaning your acoustic tone stays the same even when you switch vocal presets. 🎤 Preset List Breakdown (Standard Factory)

The presets are often named to hint at the famous songs or artists they emulate. Name (Example) Description/Style ELVIRA O-R BOYS Classic vocal harmony style HIT DOUBLING Simple doubling effect for a thicker vocal BARI WHITE Low-octave effect (often used as a "bass" setting) GORGEOUS HALL Lush, large-room reverb Distorted, lo-fi radio effect IN MY COLDPLACE Atmospheric, Coldplay-inspired textures ROCKABILLY SLAP Vintage slapback echo PING PONG ECHO Wide stereo delay bouncing between channels 🔄 Firmware & "UPD" (Updates)

The latest firmware (v1.5 Build 74, released circa 2023) is essential for modern users.

3. The "Song List" Feature vs. Presets

A unique feature of the Play Acoustic is the Song List.

  • How it works: You can arrange presets into a "Setlist" order (e.g., Preset 5 -> Preset 12 -> Preset 88) so you can scroll through them in a specific order during a gig without remembering the numbers.
  • The Update Issue: This is the most common source of confusion. Users think the unit can import setlists via USB. It cannot. You must manually arrange this list on the unit itself using the arrow buttons.
