The Risks You Need to Accept
- Bricking: If you flash the wrong image, the bootloader corrupts. No reset button will save you. You need a JTAG or TTL programmer.
- Loss of ISP Auth: The M028T stores GPON serial numbers and passwords. Flashing a "full" firmware often wipes these. Without them, you cannot connect to the fiber network at all.
- No Downgrade Path: Many newer "full" firmwares disable the ability to roll back.
