5. Driver Verifier and Security
With the Vibranium kernel, servicing places a higher emphasis on security compliance. windows 10 vibranium and later servicing drivers
- HVCI (Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity): Also known as Memory Integrity. Drivers servicing modern Windows 10 must be compatible with HVCI. If a legacy driver attempts to run, it is blocked, or HVCI is disabled (causing a security warning).
- Driver Isolation: Modern print drivers (V4) and some audio drivers run in "App Containers" isolated from the kernel, preventing a driver crash from causing a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death).
With Microsoft Intune:
- Intune’s Windows Driver Update Management is built for Vibranium+ systems.
- You can create driver deployment rings.
- Drivers are delivered via the same update profile as quality updates.
- Key feature: Rollback is possible for 30 days by redeploying a previous driver package.
7. Lifecycle Servicing

- Servicing will continue only for Windows 11 (which uses a later branch
