1) Preparation

  1. Back up all important data from the target PC.
  2. Create a recovery/repair USB and have original drivers available.
  3. Download required tools:
    • Rufus (for creating USB installer).
    • Hashing tool (e.g., HashCalc, 7-Zip, or certutil).
    • Malware scanner (offline-capable) or use a virtual machine for initial testing.
  4. Ensure target PC BIOS/UEFI supports 64-bit and either Legacy BIOS or UEFI boot (note differences below).

What is Windows 7 Titan 64-bit?

It's a custom "modded" Windows 7 ISO found on Brazilian or Portuguese-language forums (Startimes, Baixaki, etc.). These packs often claim to include:

  • Pre-activated Windows
  • "Optimized" performance for games
  • Removed unnecessary components
  • Themed visual styles (dark, titanium, etc.)
  • Bundled software, drivers, or "tweaks"

7) Post-install verification & hardening

  1. Before connecting to the internet, create a local admin account and install an AV scanner to scan the system.
  2. Check for unwanted software or services (Task Manager → Startup, Services.msc).
  3. Run SFC: 
    sfc /scannow
  4. Check activation status:
    • Control Panel → System, or run: 
      slmgr /dlv
    If activation uses cracks/patches, remove and activate with a legitimate key.
