Starting with the 2023 release, Autodesk changed how language packs are accessed. They are no longer available for public download on the Autodesk Knowledge Network; instead, you must download them directly from your Autodesk Account. Core Installation Process

Language packs are version specific. An AutoCAD 2023 language pack will not work on AutoCAD 2024 or 2025. When you upgrade your CAD software, you must download the corresponding pack for the new version.

6. Technical Considerations

Post-Installation: Switching the Language

After installation, AutoCAD does not automatically switch. You must change the setting:

  1. Open AutoCAD 2023.
  2. Type OPTIONS in the command line (or right-click the workspace gear).
  3. Go to the "Files" tab.
  4. Scroll down to "Text Editor, Dictionary, and Font File Names".
  5. Expand "Language".
  6. Select your newly installed language from the dropdown.
